1. Agreement to Terms. By creating an account or using Voltage ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What Volt Is. Volt is a virtual in-app currency with no cash value outside the App. Volt is not legal tender, is not backed by any government, is not a security, and is not redeemable for cash except through the Sell/Withdraw features described below, which may be limited, delayed, or discontinued at any time. Balances shown in the App represent a record kept in our database, not funds held in a licensed custodial account.
3. Purchases. Volt purchases are processed by Stripe. When a purchase is confirmed, the corresponding amount of Volt is credited to your account balance. All sales are final; purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion. You are responsible for confirming the correct package purchased.
4. Sending & Requesting Volt. Transfers between users are final once sent. We are not able to reverse a transfer made to the wrong username. Always double-check the recipient before confirming a payment.
5. Account Responsibilities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and Volt PIN, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
6. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and purchase Volt.
7. Prohibited Use. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to defraud another user, to launder money, or to circumvent any security or verification measure.
8. Suspension & Termination. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for suspected violation of these Terms or applicable law.
9. No Warranty. The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of Volt balance arising from account compromise, user error, or service interruption.
11. Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Contact. Questions about these Terms can be sent to the support contact listed in the App.
